Nick Bell


Career background – Grew up on a sheep, beef and heifer rearing farm in Herefordshire, studied Veterinary Science at University of Cambridge and qualified in 1999, PhD on alleviation and prevention of lameness in dairy heifers, within the Animal Welfare and Behaviour group at Bristol University, worked as large animal vet in SW England for 4.5 years, dabbling in running a practice, consultancy, referral work and some overseas extension. Worked on Healthy Feet Project at University of Bristol 2006-2010, moved to Royal Veterinary College 2010-16 where became Senior Lecturer and director of tracking rotations in production medicine based in Dorset, SW England. In 2016 set-up independent international veterinary consultancy business
